WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE?

The General Baptist Men In Missions hopes to develop the unused talent of our men and win them for greater service to Christ and the Church.  We support the overall objectives of the G/B movement.  We seek to involve men in the support of denominational, as well as local church, objectives.

Our goal is to utilize man-talent in building and extending the cause of Christ at home and abroad.

OUR AIM

It is hoped that each Men In Missions group will develop and teach loyalty to Christ, the Church, and a sense of cooperation in the total program of the G/B Denomination.

We hope to promote and support a vital boys' program in churches.  The G/B Men In Missions Board has joined in partnership with Baptist Scouting.  Boys and parents are familiar with Scouting, let's promote it.

WANT A MEN IN MISSIONS GROUP?

The idea of a men's group usually begins with the pastor, but if it originates in the minds of others, they should consult with the pastor to get his reaction.  It is critical that the pastor be supportive of the work.  If all agree that a Men In Missions group is needed, the idea should be presented and explained to the Church for approval.
