Objectives
OBJECTIVES:
OUR VISION: That General Baptist men and boys will be involved in carrying out the Great Comminison given by our Lord in Matthew 28:19-20
OUR GOAL: To lead men and boys into meaningful ministry, and to lead them to become active in the service of our Lord.
OUR STRATEGY:
1. Recommend study courses that will:
a) Develop and teach loyalty (commitment) to Christ and His Church.
b) Develop concern for the mission of the Church, i.e., winning the lost to Christ.
c) Teach the meaning, and methods of witnessing.
2. Develop and use the talent of men and boys by:
a) Encouraging local work projects around the Church and Community
b) Encouraging the involvement of all men and boys in the local group's regular meetings.
c) Finding and developing the special talents of men and boys.
3. Encourage interest in Missions by:
a) Regularly reporting on a National or Inter-national Mission project.
b) Reporting regularly on Denominational mission activities.
c) Sharing local mission concerns.
d) Inviting a missionary to visit local meetings.
e) Developing local projects that will raise funds to aid in mission needs.
f) Going on working field trips.
4. Organize Boys' work program by:
a) Local Men In Missions sponsor boys group
b) Promote Baptist Scouting in the local church.
